Overview

Explore the National Elk Refuge, home to thousands of wintering elk, hundreds of bison, bighorn sheep and an array of bird life before venturing into Grand Teton National Park. Jackson Hole’s wintering wildlife is abundant with opportunities to see bison, elk, deer, moose, fox, coyote, bald eagle, trumpeter swans, and if we’re lucky, wolves. If time allows we might also choose to stop at the Jackson Hole Visitor Center or the new Moose visitor center in Grand Teton National Park. The route varies seasonally based on group interest, road closures and wildlife migration.

The minimum age for wildlife safaris is 8 years old. (Private safaris have no age minimum.)
We have a 48-hour cancellation policy for all single day wildlife safaris. Cancellations made before the cancellation policy goes into effect will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of departure, and before the day of departure will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations or no-shows on the day of departure will not be refunded. We strongly recommend travel insurance in order to protect you from unforeseen travel interruptions that prevent you from joining us.

Your wildlife safari may stop here. Your guide will educate you on the historical or geological significance of your stop. All stops are dependent on the road conditions, weather conditions and needs or interests of each group.

We had a wonderful afternoon tour, in the Tetons park we saw Bison up close, pronghorn, elk , a bear, 2 beavers and a moose. Our tour guide Rae was very knowledgeable about the wildlife, their habitat and interesting info. It was nice letting someone else drive also. I would highly recommend this tour!

This was a great trip! We booked it at the last minute, but were still able to get two seats for my son and me. Other than being in God's beautiful creation, what made the trip so enjoyable was Grant's (our guide) knowledge of the history of the area, which really connected the dots to how the Region came to be what it is today. Although the park was extremely crowded, Grant maneuvered through it with skill and we hardly had to stop because of traffic. We saw moose, deer, elk, bison and pronghorn. We were able to retrace our steps the next day in our own vehicle with my wife and at least confer some of the history we learned the previous day. The complimentary snacks and water bottles were also a very nice touch!
