Half Day Grand Teton Wildlife Safari Tour

Overview
Explore the National Elk Refuge, home to thousands of wintering elk, hundreds of bison, bighorn sheep and an array of bird life before venturing into Grand Teton National Park. Jackson Hole’s wintering wildlife is abundant with opportunities to see bison, elk, deer, moose, fox, coyote, bald eagle, trumpeter swans, and if we’re lucky, wolves. If time allows we might also choose to stop at the Jackson Hole Visitor Center or the new Moose visitor center in Grand Teton National Park. The route varies seasonally based on group interest, road closures and wildlife migration.

The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. The history he shared was interesting, but let’s face it, we came to see wildlife. I expected back roads and maybe short hikes to see animals and all we did was rife the main roads and look at Bison and a few Pronghorn. I took my family the next afternoon and we rode the back roads and saw a ton of elk and a bear and two bull moose. Not worth the money !!!

We had a great time with Grant as our guide. He provided a very informative tour. Grant is very knowledgeable about the history of the area & where wildlife is/should be. We recommend this tour!

Lee was an amazing tour guide. He absolutely made what I thought was going to be a standard animal search into the best possible experience we ever could have asked for. History, informative, funny, energetic. I couldn’t recommend him any higher.
