Overview

Explore the National Elk Refuge, home to thousands of wintering elk, hundreds of bison, bighorn sheep and an array of bird life before venturing into Grand Teton National Park. Jackson Hole’s wintering wildlife is abundant with opportunities to see bison, elk, deer, moose, fox, coyote, bald eagle, trumpeter swans, and if we’re lucky, wolves. If time allows we might also choose to stop at the Jackson Hole Visitor Center or the new Moose visitor center in Grand Teton National Park. The route varies seasonally based on group interest, road closures and wildlife migration.

The minimum age for wildlife safaris is 8 years old. (Private safaris have no age minimum.)
We have a 48-hour cancellation policy for all single day wildlife safaris. Cancellations made before the cancellation policy goes into effect will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of departure, and before the day of departure will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations or no-shows on the day of departure will not be refunded. We strongly recommend travel insurance in order to protect you from unforeseen travel interruptions that prevent you from joining us.

Your wildlife safari may stop here. Your guide will educate you on the historical or geological significance of your stop. All stops are dependent on the road conditions, weather conditions and needs or interests of each group.

We were worried about finding things to do in Nov in Jackson Hole. So glad we found this! Dave was an excellent guide and we felt safe with him driving on the snowy roads. We saw moose, bison, coyotes, swans and muskrats. The mountain and lake views were so beautiful and amazing to say the least. It was such a nice touch to get to also stop at a coffee shop for hot beverages and breakfast! Dave was very knowledgeable about wildlife facts and answered all of our questions, we had an excellent time!

OMG! This was a great experience. So worth it. We did the 1/2 day( afternoon). Barry was our guide and he went above and beyond. He made sure we got up close with wildlife. We saw moose, elk, bison, coyote and a grizzly bear! It was such a great time. He provided us with binoculars. We were supplied plenty of sanitizer and required to wear masks. It felt very safe. We were given a water bottle and snacks as well. I would for sure do this again.
