Overview

Explore the National Elk Refuge, home to thousands of wintering elk, hundreds of bison, bighorn sheep and an array of bird life before venturing into Grand Teton National Park. Jackson Hole’s wintering wildlife is abundant with opportunities to see bison, elk, deer, moose, fox, coyote, bald eagle, trumpeter swans, and if we’re lucky, wolves. If time allows we might also choose to stop at the Jackson Hole Visitor Center or the new Moose visitor center in Grand Teton National Park. The route varies seasonally based on group interest, road closures and wildlife migration.

The minimum age for wildlife safaris is 8 years old. (Private safaris have no age minimum.)
We have a 48-hour cancellation policy for all single day wildlife safaris. Cancellations made before the cancellation policy goes into effect will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of departure, and before the day of departure will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations or no-shows on the day of departure will not be refunded. We strongly recommend travel insurance in order to protect you from unforeseen travel interruptions that prevent you from joining us.

Your wildlife safari may stop here. Your guide will educate you on the historical or geological significance of your stop. All stops are dependent on the road conditions, weather conditions and needs or interests of each group.

We didn't know exactly what to expect going into this tour. That being said, we were blown away! Our guide Peter was knowledgeable and kept the tour interesting and provided information above and beyond what was likely required. He never made us feel rushed and took the time to make a few additional stops for us to take pictures. He even assisted us in getting the best pictures we could. Highly recommend!!!

Our tour guide, Jody, was amazing in knowing where to go and wildlife to see! He was full of fun facts about the park and was fun to laugh with and was the best tour guide we’ve ever had! We saw a couple moose, 2 grizzly bears in two different areas, a couple herds of bison, mule deer, white tailed deer, and a yellow bull elk.

Our guide was wonderful and very knowledgeable. We saw grizzly bears, moose, elk, bald eagle, Elk with a huge rack, antelope, buffalo and utter.
