Half Day Grand Teton Wildlife Safari Tour

Overview
Explore the National Elk Refuge, home to thousands of wintering elk, hundreds of bison, bighorn sheep and an array of bird life before venturing into Grand Teton National Park. Jackson Hole’s wintering wildlife is abundant with opportunities to see bison, elk, deer, moose, fox, coyote, bald eagle, trumpeter swans, and if we’re lucky, wolves. If time allows we might also choose to stop at the Jackson Hole Visitor Center or the new Moose visitor center in Grand Teton National Park. The route varies seasonally based on group interest, road closures and wildlife migration.

What an amazing half day tour of Grand Teton National Park!! I highly recommend this outfit if you are looking for an informative and breathtaking tour of GTNP. Our guide, Dave, picked up us up at exactly 6:30am at our lodging, and after picking up one more couple at the ski village, we were off on our adventure! Our first wildlife encounter came quickly, as it being Fall, the elk were mating, and we came upon a herd of cow elk and several bull elk bugling and sparing for the attention of the females. One of the bulls was a monster!! We then had a close encounter with a black bear and her cub which was amazing. We saw a cow moose and her twins feeding on the sage flats above the Snake River. We stopped by the Mormon Barn for photos and then saw pronghorn antelope and bison. What a fantastic morning!! This company also took all of the necessary COVID preventative steps. Give them a call for an amazing adventure!!

My husband and I loved this tour! Dave was awesome and so knowledgeable. We ended up seeing a lot of animals on our morning tour and got many great photos of both animals and the beautiful scenery. Highly recommend!

Dave was our tour guide and he was great. Very knowledgeable and fun to interact with. He shared a wealth of information. We saw prong horn, bears, otters, elk, fox, and coyote. The scenic drives were breathtaking!
