Overview

Explore the National Elk Refuge, home to thousands of wintering elk, hundreds of bison, bighorn sheep and an array of bird life before venturing into Grand Teton National Park. Jackson Hole’s wintering wildlife is abundant with opportunities to see bison, elk, deer, moose, fox, coyote, bald eagle, trumpeter swans, and if we’re lucky, wolves. If time allows we might also choose to stop at the Jackson Hole Visitor Center or the new Moose visitor center in Grand Teton National Park. The route varies seasonally based on group interest, road closures and wildlife migration.

The minimum age for wildlife safaris is 8 years old. (Private safaris have no age minimum.)
We have a 48-hour cancellation policy for all single day wildlife safaris. Cancellations made before the cancellation policy goes into effect will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of departure, and before the day of departure will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations or no-shows on the day of departure will not be refunded. We strongly recommend travel insurance in order to protect you from unforeseen travel interruptions that prevent you from joining us.

Your wildlife safari may stop here. Your guide will educate you on the historical or geological significance of your stop. All stops are dependent on the road conditions, weather conditions and needs or interests of each group.

Jeffery was an incredible guide, he was able to locate so many awesome animals - mouse, Coyote, elk, big horned sheep, deer. He was full of knowledge about the area, wildlife and the environment. What I learned about the the man that owns the company is incredible as well. That man is saving and preserving wildlife all over the globe. Keep up the good work!!

Grant was waiting for us in our Hotel Lobby when we appeared 5 minutes early for our scheduled departure. After a brief stop for breakfast/coffee, we motored on to Teton Nat'l Park. We were thrilled to see many types of wild critters including, coyotes, moose, big horn sheep, as well as places of historic interest and lots of gorgeous country covered in snow. Grant is extremely knowledgeable about the area and the animals, so we learned a lot! We'll definitely plan to call Jackson Hole Wildlife Safaris the next time we're in town to schedule another tour.

Absolutely lived the tour. Ash was an excellent tour guide and went above and beyond to find wildlife!!! Excellent tour. I was originally trying to book something for this time, but since I was a single I needed one more pers9n. But when an opening came up, they called me. I was very appreciative
