Overview

Explore the National Elk Refuge, home to thousands of wintering elk, hundreds of bison, bighorn sheep and an array of bird life before venturing into Grand Teton National Park. Jackson Hole’s wintering wildlife is abundant with opportunities to see bison, elk, deer, moose, fox, coyote, bald eagle, trumpeter swans, and if we’re lucky, wolves. If time allows we might also choose to stop at the Jackson Hole Visitor Center or the new Moose visitor center in Grand Teton National Park. The route varies seasonally based on group interest, road closures and wildlife migration.

The minimum age for wildlife safaris is 8 years old. (Private safaris have no age minimum.)
We have a 48-hour cancellation policy for all single day wildlife safaris. Cancellations made before the cancellation policy goes into effect will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of departure, and before the day of departure will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations or no-shows on the day of departure will not be refunded. We strongly recommend travel insurance in order to protect you from unforeseen travel interruptions that prevent you from joining us.

Your wildlife safari may stop here. Your guide will educate you on the historical or geological significance of your stop. All stops are dependent on the road conditions, weather conditions and needs or interests of each group.

A great way to spend the afternoon. We saw sooooo much wildlife. Our tour guide Berry was amazing and very knowledgeable.

Our guide was Grant. He was extremely knowledgable about the wildlife and the history of the Jackson area. His passion for wildlife and nature was very apparent. I would recommend him to anyone interested in this tour. We started the tour with breakfast and then headed out on the tour. Grant informed us on points of interest and took us to the areas he has seen wildlife recently. We saw big horn sheep, elk, bison and more during our tour. We had an amazing morning and very happy with Grant as a guide.

My friend and I were so pleased to spend an afternoon exploring the Tetons for wildlife and beautiful scenery with Lee. He shared his passion for Jackson Hole and it’s history. We walked away from his tour respecting and loving this magnificent area. He knew that we REALLY wanted to see our first moose and he went out of his way until we spotted one and captured great photos of her. Many thanks to a wonderful historian, storyteller and patient man.
