The worst hardrock I have been too. We went on Monday evening and have always been huge hard rock fans (we even stayed in the hard rock hotel in Times Square). Firstly we walked in and joined the queue which had two receptionists. One of them left whilst there was a queue. As other customers come in the only receptionist left allowed a number of groups to jump the line without a booking. One couple in front of us got so frustrated with her that they actually walked out. The main kicker come when the lady was challenged about why she was letting people skip the line and she sent the queue which was there to the back. Then there was a 20 minute wait for a table. It was frustrating as the people seeing customers to there table were standing around doing nothing, one in a grey hoodie messed around with the hard rock guitar to the point that my elderly grandmother even pointed out that she had done nothing the whole time we had been sat down. We also couldn’t get a drink in this time because they didn’t have the bar open. 30 minutes pass and no one invited us down and having had enough we got back into the queue and was immediately seated - clearly they have operational issues. Interestingly the original lady from reception was going and the ‘operational manager’ in a green overshirt had taken her role. Perhaps this is why things weren’t running well operationally. Our server came over just under 10 minutes. The food was ok but we barely saw our server again. She bought the bill to us literally vanished. We couldn’t find her for about 15 minutes until she walked out from the kitchen (without food). Out of all the hard rocks I have been to world wide this was the worst in terms of organisation, service and general atmosphere. My grandmother even commented saying ‘if this was her first hard rock she would never be going back’. Ultimately there are better places in Times Square for service and atmosphere.

Meals & service excellent. Servings large. Music great but not intrusive. Menu very broad. Smoked BBQ my favourite. Souvenirs available.

Quality food and great service. We ate here on two separate occasions during our family visit. The memorabilia is insane and contributes to an overall great experience. Gluten Free menu was avalible and very good.
