If you're traveling by same-day train arrival and departure with the Alaska Railroad: If the train arrives late, passengers will miss the 11:30 AM departure time. We will try our best to accommodate by providing alternate tour options, space available. An alternative option would be to go on the 4.5-hour Resurrection Bay Tour that departs at 12:30 PM.

Glide past seals, sea otters and sea lions playing and sunning on rocky shores. Watch puffins and eagles soar above. Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge

Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge is comprised of 2,400 islands, headlands, rocks, islets, spires and reefs and is known for its abundance of seabirds.

Holgate Glacier

A towering tidewater glacier Visit either one of two spectacular tidewater glaciers, Aialik or Holgate. Like Aialik, Holgate Glacier is surrounded by steep cliffs, dense forests and towering mountain peaks. Visitors may see spectacular calving events as ice chunks break and crash into the ocean. Though rare, black bears have been sighted on the beaches in Holgate arm.

Resurrection Bay

Depart Small Boat Harbor in Seward and navigate through Resurrection Bay as our expert guides introduce you to Kenai Fjords National Park.

This is an experience that will allow you to see some amazing creatures, such as otters, whales, Orcas, seals, glaciers and it was a warm, beautiful day. Crew was very professional. Lunch was good but not fancy. But, be warned, if you are prone to seasickness, do not go on this cruise. It will be hours of misery. Highly recommended, if you have a strong stomach.

Being up close a large glacier, floating without any sound. Fantastic sights of sea life; Sea Otters, Grey Whales, Orcas (Killer Whales) Harbor Seals, Stellar Sea Lions, Mountain Goats and Eagles too.
