Modern & More Bike Tours Palm Springs

Overview

This is a small group 2.5 hour bike tour of three architecturally & historically significant residential neighborhoods in South Palm Springs. Quiet streets, no hills, constant sunshine, & very little traffic make for a great ride for novices or expert cyclists alike. (This is not an athletic tour, fear not!)

We'll explore the neighborhoods of Deepwell Estates, Twin Palms, & Indian Canyons, making frequent stops for photos & to learn details about specific homes and architects.

NOTE: Bikes are not included. I work with a rental agency where our journey begins and ends. They do offer my guests a discount, and they have colorful cruiser bikes as well as electric pedal-assist bikes.

[ I've designed this tour for serious architecture & history fans, with academic-level information & detail. So, it may not be the most enjoyable tour for some children. ]

My girlfriend and I had such an incredible time on Brennan's personalized tour of three MCM neighborhoods in Palm Springs. His knowledge and passion for architecture and the history of Palm Springs really shined during a information-packed fun bike ride around his beloved town. I learned so much more about modern architecture and cannot wait to get back to Palm Springs to see it all again. Highly recommended for anyone who loves art/architecture, old-school Hollywood gossip, and seeing a new town firsthand by bicycle!

We took this tour on our first morning in Palm Springs and it was a great way to kick off our time here, learn about different neighborhoods, orient ourselves to some mid-century design elements, and get the inside scoop on recommendations for the rest of our time here. Brennan was a great tour guide with insider tid bits of knowledge and the interior photos of the homes we stopped at was a surprising bonus. The route was thoughtfully planned through quiet streets and shortcuts to see a lot of homes in the riding time. I’ve done tours like this around the world and I highly recommend booking this one.

Highly recommend doing this bike tour in Palm Springs. Brennan, the tour guide, is very knowledgeable about the architectural history and PS in general. The ride is flat, safe and enjoyable. A great way to explore the unique neighborhoods of Palm Springs. We rented bikes from the suggested vendor which were comfortable and in excellent shape- we even had a choice of fun colors! We chose the 8:30 AM time to avoid midday heat-it was perfect!
