This is a fun-filled interactive walking tour of Greenwich Village's Italian neighborhood. See St. Anthony's Church, Raffetto's Pasta and then stroll MacDougal Street's Caffe Reggio. This 2+hour tour is led by local, licensed NYC tour guide, Greg Marro, with Italian family roots in the neighborhood since 1884. What To Expect

St. Anthony of Padua

St Anthony of Padua is the first church built in the Americas for Italian Catholics. We will see the church's Romanesque interior complete with magnificent marble altar and Corinthian columns.

Father Demo Square

This quaint square's vista of the church's bell tower juxtaposed with the fountain, gives tourists a look into Italian American of this neighborhood.

Our Lady of Pompeii

See this gorgeous Italianate 1892 Church, the only NYC Roman Catholic Church with weekly Sunday Mass in four languages: English, Italian, Portugese and Tagalog/Phillipino.

Thank you Greg for a wonderful day!!!we highly recommend This tour I bought my mom a ticket for the holidays , not knowing what to expect and to our surprise we had Greg as our guide. He was a delight , fun to the point personable had a lot of knowledge and knew his neighborhood !! Give it a try you will not be disappointed 😃

Going into this experience, we really didn't have any expectations. But, we were very pleasantly surprised with how well the tour went! We toured around Greenwich Village and learned about the history of the Italian American community of New York while eating very good food. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is willing to walk, eat and learn.

Tour was a great experience and Greg did a decent job of leading us. Going into little personal shops was a highlight. Greg talked more about his family then about the food history.
