This 2+hour tour is led by local, licensed NYC tour guide, Greg Marro, with Italian family roots in the neighborhood since 1884. St. Anthony of Padua

St Anthony of Padua is the first church built in the Americas for Italian Catholics. We will see the church's Romanesque interior complete with magnificent marble altar and Corinthian columns.

Father Demo Square

This quaint square's vista of the church's bell tower juxtaposed with the fountain, gives tourists a look into Italian American of this neighborhood.

Our Lady of Pompeii

See this gorgeous Italianate 1892 Church, the only NYC Roman Catholic Church with weekly Sunday Mass in four languages: English, Italian, Portugese and Tagalog/Phillipino.

Interesting facts, but not much food. On other walking tours I have left feeling as though I had a meal. Left hungry after this one Very personable and eager to answer questions. Assisted us to our subway station

Hi Cecelia, It is unfortunate you left the tour hungry. the fresh baked onion focaccia, the imported prosciutto from Parma, the three ingredient all natural gelato, the Sicilian rice ball, the classic Italian meatball in red gravy and the Fruita Mi-su desert are samplings. They are not intended to be a full meal. Thank you

This is a great look into the inner workings of a NYC neighborhood. Lots of history and good food. Well worth the price.
