This is a fun-filled interactive walking tour of Greenwich Village's Italian neighborhood. See St. Anthony's Church, Raffetto's Pasta and then stroll MacDougal Street's Caffe Reggio. This 2+hour tour is led by local, licensed NYC tour guide, Greg Marro, with Italian family roots in the neighborhood since 1884. St. Anthony of Padua

St Anthony of Padua is the first church built in the Americas for Italian Catholics. We will see the church's Romanesque interior complete with magnificent marble altar and Corinthian columns.

Father Demo Square

This quaint square's vista of the church's bell tower juxtaposed with the fountain, gives tourists a look into Italian American of this neighborhood.

Our Lady of Pompeii

See this gorgeous Italianate 1892 Church, the only NYC Roman Catholic Church with weekly Sunday Mass in four languages: English, Italian, Portugese and Tagalog/Phillipino.

Greg is an excellent and enthusiastic tour guide. He’s very knowledgeable, fun, and entertaining. The food was tasty and the shop owners were very friendly and inviting. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back to take another tour with Greg. He’s the best!

Greg is an amazing guide , he is knowledgeable, humorous, encourages participation , makes you feel like family . Listens to the group, history lessons, great food . He is a true honest person hysterically funny . Full of energy. Would go in another tour with him in a minute

Greg gave a very interesting tour through the neighborhood talking about local establishments and churches that have served the community for generations. In addition the sampling of foods made it a wonderful journey of flavor as well.
