This 2+hour tour is led by local, licensed NYC tour guide, Greg Marro, with Italian family roots in the neighborhood since 1884. What To Expect

St. Anthony of Padua

St Anthony of Padua is the first church built in the Americas for Italian Catholics. We will see the church's Romanesque interior complete with magnificent marble altar and Corinthian columns.

Father Demo Square

This quaint square's vista of the church's bell tower juxtaposed with the fountain, gives tourists a look into Italian American of this neighborhood.

Our Lady of Pompeii

See this gorgeous Italianate 1892 Church, the only NYC Roman Catholic Church with weekly Sunday Mass in four languages: English, Italian, Portugese and Tagalog/Phillipino.

My wife and I enjoyed this lovely little tour. Greg the tour guide lived on the street where we started and clear loves his local district. Food was great with a wide selection. Good value and something a little different while your in nyc.

Took this tour yesterday with my husband. This tour was great. Greg was knowledgable and friendly and his love for the local food and people showed, which added to the enjoyment of the tour. The food tasting was varied and extremely delicious. Honestly some of the best food we’ve ever tasted. I would definitely recommend this tour. Big thanks to Greg for his warmth and humour and for making this tour extra special!

Greg did a fantastic job of not just showing us great restaurants, but also the Italian culture and the history of each place we stopped. The food was amazing and everyone we went was nothing less than inviting and friendly. Truly recommend this tour for everyone!
