This 2+hour tour is led by local, licensed NYC tour guide, Greg Marro, with Italian family roots in the neighborhood since 1884. St. Anthony of Padua

St Anthony of Padua is the first church built in the Americas for Italian Catholics. We will see the church's Romanesque interior complete with magnificent marble altar and Corinthian columns.

Father Demo Square

This quaint square's vista of the church's bell tower juxtaposed with the fountain, gives tourists a look into Italian American of this neighborhood.

Our Lady of Pompeii

See this gorgeous Italianate 1892 Church, the only NYC Roman Catholic Church with weekly Sunday Mass in four languages: English, Italian, Portugese and Tagalog/Phillipino.

A great tour of Italian history and examples of flavorful bights. Greg has centuries of family history- which provided some great insight. The surprises were the fruit-missou and the coffee. Would recommend to anyone interested in Italian food.

Greg was funny, friendly and super enthusiastic about this wonderful neighborhood and the Italian community. He had great facts and history as well as a personal family connection. The amazing Italian food he introduced us to at several of the neighborhood eateries was simply a plus. I would recommend him to anyone who wants to have a good time, and likes to eat.
