This 2+hour tour is led by local, licensed NYC tour guide, Greg Marro, with Italian family roots in the neighborhood since 1884. St. Anthony of Padua

St Anthony of Padua is the first church built in the Americas for Italian Catholics. We will see the church's Romanesque interior complete with magnificent marble altar and Corinthian columns.

Father Demo Square

This quaint square's vista of the church's bell tower juxtaposed with the fountain, gives tourists a look into Italian American of this neighborhood.

Our Lady of Pompeii

See this gorgeous Italianate 1892 Church, the only NYC Roman Catholic Church with weekly Sunday Mass in four languages: English, Italian, Portugese and Tagalog/Phillipino.

We were really happy with the tour. We were introduced to some Italian foods that we never tried before. The guide was very informative not only on the food items offered but the neighborhoods we visited. Every thing was well planned and executed. Would really recommend to other travellers.

Greg was extremely friendly. Knows the history and very passionate about his love for the neighborhood. Food was excellent. We learned about history of neighborhood, churches and food. We will be going back to the neighborhood to eat and walk around!!!

We enjoyed Greg's knowledge of neighborhood immigrants, architecture, and famous people who have lived in this special place. He treated to us to several Italian foods along the way, with the meatballs at Faicco's Italian Specialties store our favorite. This tour is well worth the money!
