This is a fun-filled interactive walking tour of Greenwich Village's Italian neighborhood. See St. Anthony's Church, Raffetto's Pasta and then stroll MacDougal Street's Caffe Reggio. This 2+hour tour is led by local, licensed NYC tour guide, Greg Marro, with Italian family roots in the neighborhood since 1884. St. Anthony of Padua

St Anthony of Padua is the first church built in the Americas for Italian Catholics. We will see the church's Romanesque interior complete with magnificent marble altar and Corinthian columns.

Father Demo Square

This quaint square's vista of the church's bell tower juxtaposed with the fountain, gives tourists a look into Italian American of this neighborhood.

Our Lady of Pompeii

See this gorgeous Italianate 1892 Church, the only NYC Roman Catholic Church with weekly Sunday Mass in four languages: English, Italian, Portugese and Tagalog/Phillipino.

What a great tour! We have done a few food walking tours in NYC and this was certainly one that I would highly recommend. So many different food samples! Greg was a knowledgeable and pleasant guide.

We were in nyc for 5 days recently and we decided to do a food tour. We looked at the reviews and Greg’s tour looked the best. We had the most wonderful time with Greg, he is very knowledgeable and extremely interactive. He is a credit to the industry. You can clearly see he genuinely loves what he does. The food stops were all amazing. The winner for me was either the cheese bread or the meatballs.
