This is a must-do when in Palm Springs! Not only is the tram a technological marvel, the ride is beautiful, and the view at the top is breathtaking. Be sure to take some time t walk around and maybe grab a lunch at the restaurant in the handsome mid-century Lodge. This s one of the best ways to escape the desert heat.

Great experience, and really good value. Must go when in Palm Springs. Bring warm clothes, it's much colder up there.

My friends and I rode the tram up the side of the mountain and we were totally amazed. The views were just breathtaking, but do be aware that the temperature at the top of the mountain is 30 degrees colder than below. Also, the tram car is the largest in the world and the bottom floor revolves 360 degrees while you travel up/down the mountain. This is a definite must when you are visiting Palm Springs -- I'm so glad we took the time to make the trip - it's so worth the money.
