Premier Juneau Whale Watching Expedition

Overview
Your 3 hour whale watching adventure begins when you board a coach bus that departs downtown Juneau from the Mt. Roberts Tram parking lot. A 25 minute journey through the picturesque landscape of Southeast Alaska will take you to Auke Bay Harbor. “All aboard!” and you’re off for Alaska waters and the ultimate whale watching experience. The star of the tour is the humpback whale, but we are always looking out for sea lions, bald eagles, or the playful orca. The whales are here to feed in our abundant Alaskan waters.  Our naturalist guides you on a 2 hour whale watching tour. With our experienced captains and Juneau being one of the best ports for whale watching in Alaska, this tour will be an unforgettable experience. A light snack and refreshments will be provided.

Really enjoyed my time out on the water with them. The weather was a bit overcast but the whale watch was calm and lots of whales, although they don't really have control over any of that. The bus driver from the meet-up point to the boat (and back) was great as were the crew on the boat. Was a nice way to end a few days in Juneau for work before heading home.

Best whale watching ever. Best crew ever: Ford, Jaden, and captain Mack. Can’t beat them! We saw dozens of whales, spouting, breaking the surface of the water, and many of them showing their flukes. But the best part of all was that we had some very entertaining whales, who were actually leaping up out of the water, and then splashing down. We were also blessed to have a beautifully sunny day. highly recommend this group as a tour group. We booked this independently not through our ship. Great price. Great adventure.

Had a great time. Jayden was funny, and informative. Sam was friendly and sweet. Captain Mac was impressively intuitive. He was in communication with the dozen or so other whale watching boats on the bay and together we saw humpback spouts and flukes from various distances, but he wasn't satisfied and drove further out in the bay where he found a group of at least three seemingly playing together and giving us a great show. Many of the other boats came out to join us and we were all thoroughly entertained. The highlight was when one of the whales swam toward us, blowing and diving within about 20 feet of the boat.
