Overview

The Mardi Gras School of Cooking does small, intimate hands-on classes in the French Quarter. Classes are more like a dinner party with friends. Feel welcomed into our kitchens by the Chefs themselves. From the moment you arrive until you roll out the door our Chefs are friendly, personable and entertaining. Not to mention their culinary skills are impeccable.

Our minimum class size is 2 people. A solo traveler may join an already scheduled class. Call us to hear about the available classes.

For parties of 8 or more, you will have to contact us directly to book. We have questions.

Chef Raymond was fantastic! It was a fun group of people from all over! We learned a few special tricks and solid roux-making skills! Highly recommend! Thanks Chef Raymond! We will be back!

Our chef Raymond was amazing! We were a group of 5 and we all really enjoyed ourselves. Not only was it the best gumbo we’ve had, but we can now make it ourselves at home (thanks to Raymond who made it extremely easy). Next time we’re in NOLA we will definitely be taking other classes he host!
