Overview

The Mardi Gras School of Cooking does small, intimate hands-on classes in the French Quarter. Classes are more like a dinner party with friends. Feel welcomed into our kitchens by the Chefs themselves. From the moment you arrive until you roll out the door our Chefs are friendly, personable and entertaining. Not to mention their culinary skills are impeccable.

Our minimum class size is 2 people. A solo traveler may join an already scheduled class. Call us to hear about the available classes.

For parties of 8 or more, you will have to contact us directly to book. We have questions.

This cooking class was exceptional!! Chef David was a true gem who was a patient, fun, and entertaining teacher. All of the food we made was excellent and we learned a lot along the way! I’m so happy with this experience and I would rank it as a can’t miss when in New Orleans.

What a great evening! Excellent history and teaching. Clean and well maintained. They make everything easy and fun. I took my 8 year old son and he had an excellent time and was engaged and excited every time. This was the "roux" course and we made gumbo, etouffee and bananas foster. A lot of fun! Would absolutely book again.
