Overview

The Mardi Gras School of Cooking does small, intimate hands-on classes in the French Quarter. Classes are more like a dinner party with friends. Feel welcomed into our kitchens by the Chefs themselves. From the moment you arrive until you roll out the door our Chefs are friendly, personable and entertaining. Not to mention their culinary skills are impeccable.

Our minimum class size is 2 people. A solo traveler may join an already scheduled class. Call us to hear about the available classes.

For parties of 8 or more, you will have to contact us directly to book. We have questions.

Chef Mark was outstanding. Flavors were amazing and he brought out the flavor of the ingredients, not having the spices overtake the dish. Best meal in NOLA by far, now to recreate the magic at home. Can’t recommend this enough! So glad we went. (Ran into a couple at a bar that took the class earlier in the day and they reiterated the same)

This was all hands on and chef Erika was awesome, informative , funny and patient. We learned alot and had so much fun. Definitely a must do in New Orleans.
