We are the only Cooking School that does small intimate Hands On Classes in the French Quarter. Our class size ranges from 2 people to 10. Larger groups are welcome too. Classes are more like a dinner party with friends.

I have cooked Gumbo for years. I was hoping I learned at least one thing new. I learned about a dozen. I had a wonderful time. The food we made was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the Roux class. I may be going back for the Jambalaya class as well.

Mark is AMAZING! He is passionate about history, food and teaching both! My husband and I are sponges for history and food so it was a perfect fit! The hands on experience was so much more fun than the demonstration type cooking school experience. The gumbo, shrimp etouffee and bananas foster were so yummy! I highly recommend this experience and Mark at the Mardi Gras Cooking School!
