Overview

The Mardi Gras School of Cooking does small, intimate hands-on classes in the French Quarter. Classes are more like a dinner party with friends. Feel welcomed into our kitchens by the Chefs themselves. From the moment you arrive until you roll out the door our Chefs are friendly, personable and entertaining. Not to mention their culinary skills are impeccable.

Our minimum class size is 2 people. A solo traveler may join an already scheduled class. Call us to hear about the available classes.

For parties of 8 or more, you will have to contact us directly to book. We have questions.

Chef Preston was charismatic, knowledgeable, and a wondrous teacher. He went above and beyond in offering a cooking class, giving insights into the culture and history of NOLA and the dishes we were making. Chef Preston was also able to give numerous recommendations on places to eat, methods of tracking where and when live music was, and so much more. A wonderful course I cannot possibly recommend highly enough for others to attend.

Chef Preston was amazing. He coupled the cooking with the history of New Orleans which was so interesting. Highly recommend. Couldn’t have been a better experience.
