Overview

The Mardi Gras School of Cooking does small, intimate hands-on classes in the French Quarter. Classes are more like a dinner party with friends. Feel welcomed into our kitchens by the Chefs themselves. From the moment you arrive until you roll out the door our Chefs are friendly, personable and entertaining. Not to mention their culinary skills are impeccable.

Our minimum class size is 2 people. A solo traveler may join an already scheduled class. Call us to hear about the available classes.

For parties of 8 or more, you will have to contact us directly to book. We have questions.

Excellent class as we learned critical skills for creating New Orleans cuisine. Well worthwhile. Chef Dave was an excellent instructor.

Chef Preston was great, skills off the chart, knowledgable history of food in NOLA. Food we were taught was classic, delicious and filling (didn’t need dinner that night!). Will go back for a different menu next time in visiting our son.

Our chef was fantastic and kept everyone engaged. His history on the food was great to hear and the food was delicious. I would absolutely go to another one of their classes.
