Kenai Fjords National Park

In Kenai Fjords National Park, over half of the landmass is covered by the enormous Harding Icefield, a thousand-foot block of ice that dates back to the last Ice Age. The Harding spills out in all directions in the form of glaciers. Some stretch northwest into rugged hills of the Kenai Peninsula. Others—five of them, to be exact—reach as far as the sea along the craggy coast of the Gulf of Alaska.

Fox Island

Your exploration of Kenai Fjords National Park is enhanced by a chance to step off the boat, stroll the beach and explore on land. This island is rich in inspiration and character.

My wife and I and her parents had an amazing time on this cruise. Definitely worth the money we spent! Captain Greg was sure to make the passengers aware of whale and other sea life activity in the bay. He was also full of important information about the marine and bird life around resurrection bay! The food was great and all the staff were very professional. On our cruise we also had the National Parks ranger, who, also explained to us a lot of how this area came to be.

Came away from this great excursion with a list of great wildlife seen from the boat: sea lions, orcas, a humpback whale, puffins, eagles... The bay is a beautiful place and is not to be missed.

Awesome trip worth every penny. We were worried it would be obnoxiously touristy but it wasn’t at all. It was great in every way. We saw about 15+ Humpbacks feeding, otters, dolphins, puffins, and more. And at the end they give you a cookie. Just a really lovely experience.
