Best of Jackson Hole Wildlife Private Safari Tour

Overview

Thousands of mule deer, elk, moose, big horn sheep and bison migrate into the valley in search of food each year along with coyotes, fox, bald and golden eagles, swans, and even packs of wolves. This gathering of wintering wildlife makes winter one of the best times to view wildlife in Jackson Hole!

After a full morning in the field we will enjoy lunch together at a local eatery before heading back out for the afternoon. When available, we will take a horse drawn sleigh through the National Elk Refuge into the middle of the largest wild elk herd in North America. Following the sleigh ride, we will head back into the field to spot more wildlife.

Private safaris have no age minimum.
We have a 48-hour cancellation policy for all single day wildlife safaris. Cancellations made before the cancellation policy goes into effect will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of departure, and before the day of departure will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations or no-shows on the day of departure will not be refunded. We strongly recommend travel insurance in order to protect you from unforeseen travel interruptions that prevent you from joining us.

My husband and I did the wildlife and scenic private tour today and it was hands down one of the most memorable experiences of our lives. As huge wildlife enthusiasts, we were blown away by not only the animals but also the incredible experience our tour guides provided ( if you go on a tour, I highly recommend Cade and Kaya!). We were picked up on time, we had a lovely private SVU and Cade and Kaya went above and beyond in making sure we were comfortable, safe and that we had a very memorable experience. To name a few animals, we saw bear, moose, elk, wolf (multiple!), prong horn sheep and a lot of bison. Since we were on a private tour, we got to know Cade and Kaya very well and it was evident how passionate they were about the animals, the parks and their jobs overall. They had so much knowledge of the history of the parks and knew facts about every animal we encountered, which was fun to learn about. It made us feel very special having guides that fielded so many of our questions! (There were a lot of them over ten hours!) Overall, we 10/10 recommend Brushbuck Wildlife tours- if you are looking for a fun, interactive and once in a lifetime experience, this is the company to go with.
