Overview

Explore the National Elk Refuge, home to thousands of wintering elk, hundreds of bison, bighorn sheep and an array of bird life before venturing into Grand Teton National Park. Jackson Hole’s wintering wildlife is abundant with opportunities to see bison, elk, deer, moose, fox, coyote, bald eagle, trumpeter swans, and if we’re lucky, wolves. If time allows we might also choose to stop at the Jackson Hole Visitor Center or the new Moose visitor center in Grand Teton National Park. The route varies seasonally based on group interest, road closures and wildlife migration.

The minimum age for wildlife safaris is 8 years old. (Private safaris have no age minimum.)
We have a 48-hour cancellation policy for all single day wildlife safaris. Cancellations made before the cancellation policy goes into effect will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of departure, and before the day of departure will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations or no-shows on the day of departure will not be refunded. We strongly recommend travel insurance in order to protect you from unforeseen travel interruptions that prevent you from joining us.

Your wildlife safari may stop here. Your guide will educate you on the historical or geological significance of your stop. All stops are dependent on the road conditions, weather conditions and needs or interests of each group.

Our tour guide, Grant, was awesome! He has an eagle-eye for seeing the smallest animal and those off in the distance. He stopped frequently for photo ops and to point out specific animals and/or breathtaking views. His knowledge of the animals and the history of Wyoming was impressive. We started the day with a breakfast sandwich & coffee after being picked up at our hotel and were given snacks, juice and water in a souvenir water bottle for our excursion through the Tetons. Would definitely do this again. Highly recommend!

Our family had the greatest time seeing the various deer, bison, elk, eagles and so much more. The opportunity to be driven around the area, hop out to check out some wildlife close up or via binoculars and get back into a warm van was a fantastic experience.

This company was so professional with regards the comfy vehicle, telescope set up, binoculars for all, along with tools to keep the fog/ice off the windows. Lee is the most informative guide we have ever had. Definitely a tour company to use if you want a great safari experience in comfort.
