We are the only Cooking School that does small intimate Hands On Classes in the French Quarter. Our class size ranges from 2 people to 10. Larger groups are welcome too. Classes are more like a dinner party with friends.

We had a wonderful time! The food was perfect and the company was lovely! We will recommend this class to all of our friends, when they are visiting New Orleans! Chef Barry was welcoming and so talented. If you have the opportunity, this will not disappoint!

Watching my friend de vein a shrimp. Considering, she doesn’t do seafood, but she did it anyway for the experience and because I really wanted to do the class. We enjoyed each dish. She picked around the shrimp though. I ate every bite. All in all though a very good experience in our opinion.

We were seniors, looking for something different to do. A visit to the Mardi Gras School of Cooking fit the bill perfectly. Chef Mark was patient, kind and funny. He taught us both to use shrimp shells and heads to make broth and told us how to pick the best shrimp (look for whiskers). It was super, sipper fun since the school supplied complementary beer and wine. We would do it again!
